Waubaushene is home – Gunners Excavating & Haulage has been operating from here for years, and most of the work that built the business has been within a 20-minute drive of the yard. Tay Township is our backyard.

Tay-specific notes
From the yard to most addresses in Tay Township is 15 minutes or less. Same-day site visits are usually possible Monday through Friday for projects in the township. Aggregate deliveries are often next-day or same-day.

How fast can we get to you?
- Permits and approvals – Tay Township issues building permits; septic systems are approved through the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit.
- Conservation Authority – most shoreline and watercourse work in Tay falls under Severn Sound Environmental Association. We coordinate the permits as part of the project.
- Soil conditions – vary across the township from sandy to clay-heavy depending on location. We perc-test before recommending a septic design.
- Access – most of Tay is well-served by year-round roads. Some lakefront lots have soft-spring access constraints we work around.
